Always A Friendly Atmosphere

A comfortable neighborhood bar. There’s never any attitude. Underwear night (Saturdays) can be fun. If only the bartenders would strip down to their underwear too! (They do on occasion.)

Thursday - check it out

The lantern has carved out a Thursday night niche. Shirtless men drink free – very crowded – mix between bears and muscle boys rubbing up against each other while gulping down free cocktails

Real Men FOR Real Men

Unlike a lot of other bars that are frequented by the self-proclaimed "A-listers" and 21 y.o. 120 lb. twinks, the Green Lantern is a place where regular men, with regular bodies and hairlines go to meet similar men. Very little attitude. The owner is great. Some of the patrons can be a little fetishistic about the Bear Scene but not many. Most men are just there to get laid. Sometimes hard to tell when the good nights are, but I've always pulled there when that was my intention.

Nice place

Could be better, but not bad. Reasonable prices for drinks, nice atmosphere, but you can get some attitude from the regulars. I would go again though, I had a nice time.
