Georgia Brown's Formerly: Georgia Brown's

(10 Ratings)
Southern, jazz diner
At Georgia Brown's, food is to be slowly savored, traditional fried green tomatoes, Perleau straight from Charleston, and fried chicken to compete with your grandma's. Proper desserts like homemade ice cream will cause you to swing your feet childlike while your spoon clatters getting every last bite.

southern cuisine in dc

Food was amazing the fried green tomatoes were phenomenal and the serving was only 2 and we had a party of 3 and they added another for a couple bucks. The country fried steak was the best we have had . You must try the sangria carafe. It was a must stop by when in dc.

Low Country cuisine at its best.

One of the best low country cooking restaurants around. Easy to find and self parking not bad for DC. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. Almost like being greeted by an old friend. From the mini cornbread muffins to the collard greens a great meal. A generous varied menu that would certainly please the most picky lover of southern cooking. Try the bread pudding, a unique variation.
