D.I.K. Bar

94% love it
A comfortable bar with a welcoming come-hither style
Endearingly referred to as Windows, D.I.K. Bar is a 17th St landmark with karaoke often pouring out into the night air. Tends to attract an older crowd and their admirers, but everyone feels welcome here.

      Unassuming and relaxing...
A nice place to grab a drink with a friend. Mostly older crowd. Great bartenders that pour hard. Nice place to have a drink after work with friends or to meet some new ones...

      Neighborhood Bar, case-in-point.
Certainly the vibe of a neighborhood bar. People came/went. Perfectly fine place. Nothing earth-shattering about it tho.

Nice friendly bar for a drink with friends
I stopped in briefly around 11pm and it was a bit quiet with a few groups of people watching show tunes on the TV screens. I like this place, instantly felt comfortable and the crowd was attractive and of mixed ages.

Nice Local Bar, right on the 17th Street Strip.
DIK Bar (Dupont Italian Kitchen) Bar, is a gay bar over a wonderful Italian restaurant downstairs. Great food there. DIK/Windows attracts a more middle aged, professional type person than club boys and Tina Twinks, which is fine with me. Always crowded, especially Fridays. Many Bear fans.
