DuPont Italian Kitchen

(50 Ratings)
Comfortable bar with a welcoming style

Endearingly referred to as Windows, DIK Bar is a 17th Street landmark with karaoke often pouring out into the night air. Tends to attract an older crowd and their admirers, but everyone feels welcome here.

Nice friendly bar for a drink with friends

I stopped in briefly around 11pm and it was a bit quiet with a few groups of people watching show tunes on the TV screens. I like this place, instantly felt comfortable and the crowd was attractive and of mixed ages.

Nice Local Bar, right on the 17th Street Strip.

DIK Bar (Dupont Italian Kitchen) Bar, is a gay bar over a wonderful Italian restaurant downstairs. Great food there. DIK/Windows attracts a more middle aged, professional type person than club boys and Tina Twinks, which is fine with me. Always crowded, especially Fridays. Many Bear fans.
