10 artists for 10 years | Honfleur Gallery
This year's exhibition marks Honfleur Gallery's 10th anniversary with a retrospective of artists who have shown over the past 9 exhibitions and an emerging new artist. This annual exhibition celebrates artists who live, work, or have roots in Wards 7 & 8.
Featuring: BK ADAMS I AM ART, Mei Mei Chang, Wesley Clark, Jonathan French, Matthew Mann, Luis Del Valle, Susana Raab, James Terrell, Deborah Terry, and introducing Asha Elana Casey.

Photographer Bruce McNeil is the recipient of the East of the River Distinguished Artist Award for 2016. He will present collection of new work in the Blank Space Gallery (Lounge of Anacostia Arts Center). The award is designed to celebrate the achievements and contributions of East of the River artists who have enriched the arts in Washington, DC.

Feminicity by Olivia Tripp Morrow | Vivid Solutions DC
IMMERSION is an interactive, multimedia installation series that will be held in 3 locations around Historic Anacostia neighborhood and offer visitors the chance to touch, create, contribute, and share. Up first is Olivia Morrow's exhibit Feminicity in Vivid Solution Gallery for 7 weeks. She will create a winding installation of colorful, abstract sculptures wrapped in textiles from the women who donated them.
LADIES: Donate clothing or textiles for the Feminicity exhibition and receive special perks! (Sorry gents, this is a women-specific project!)
