What to Expect:
The roof has a pool, a bar and a grill station. You can get a pretty full range of drinks and a limited menu of awesome food. Quesadillas, burgers, crab cakes, bbq shrimp and chicken, all of it is bangin and everything on the menu is $10. You order at the bar and pick up your food at the grill station.
The pool isn't huge but its big enough and its very usable. Bring your bathing suit, enjoy the weather. The hotel provides towels and there seems to always be plenty of them available. There is an outside shower on the roof and a bathroom on the 8th floor right before you hit the roof.
It rains almost every time we do an event on the roof but it never lasts. There is a huge tented area that people can huddle under if we get a short rain storm in the afternoon. Do not let this deter you unless you want everyone to know how soft you are ;) Seriously though, it's all good.
Normally it's $25 for a day pass to the roof deck but during our events it is always free. There is a 360 view of the city and an almost constant breeze. In short its fucking lovely up there. There is plenty of seating; couches, cabanas, chairs and you do not have to pay to play. Avoid the orange chairs that look sketchy, they are indeed sketchy. We do not offer bottle service but the bartenders move quickly and are good at what they do. There is usually a solid selection of beers, get yourself a Radler and thank me late. Think malt liquor and grapefruit soda, boom!
The hotel is very nice but it's not pretentious. There is no dress code for this event, just be yourself. Please respect the space and the people in it. The staff is really great there too so if you need anything just ask nicely and I am sure they will hook it up for you.
They love the Industry parties because everyone is always so nice, thank you for that.
When you arrive to the hotel take the elevator in the lobby to the 9th floor and follow the signs to the roof. Enjoy the MasPaz artwork in the hallway on the way up it's really great. No need to check in with the front desk just come on up.
