In a world of ever-increasing inclusion of LGBTQ people, the terminology around sexual orientation and gender identity is receiving more and more attention. Many people outside of and within the LGBTQ community do not understand the constantly changing LGBTQ acronym, or why some organizations represent some letters and not others. How do we meaningfully discuss sexual The Human Rights Campaign in partnership with the University of Chicago and the University Lavender League are holding a panel to help everyone learn and begin a dialogue around sexual, gender, and queer identities. A panel made of up those who work in the field or identify as queer will help us all start a conversation.
The event will begin with a cocktail hour (cash bar) and small bites to meet and greet with fellow alumni and community members. At 7:00 p.m. the panel will begin with time for questions.
