Biking and metro are strongly encouraged. BicycleSPACE is sponsoring the Bike Valet with Two Wheel Valet. Riders from the BicycleSPACE ride are guaranteed a spot at the valet and priority access to the festival only if they have purchased a presale festival ticket. BicycleSPACE cannot guarantee priority access to those purchasing on-site.
This year there are only a very limited number of free parking spots. Due to other events happening at the stadium that evening if you do not get one of the free spots parking will cost $15 per vehicle
Shuttle Service: FREE Shuttles will be running all day from 11:30am to 9:30pm and will be picking up Festival Goers on H St NE in front of the Argonaut and at the Stadium Armory Metro Stop.
GREEN FESTIVAL
DDOE will be providing an interactive model of the watershed and information and education on our Riversmart Homes and solar programs.
The Festival is taking its first steps this year to move towards a GREEN Festival. Food trucks and food vendors are required to use compostable plates and cutlery, water will be available through water monster and there will be no plastic cups thanks to our sponsor and partner Klean Kanteen. Festival goers are encouraged to use their own reusable water bottles for water and will be required to purchase or bring their own stainless steel 16oz cup for beer.
ACTIVITIES
REI Village and Kayaks - Festival sponsor REI will be bringing the REI Village, a touring celebration of the outdoor lifestyle (with special gifts for REI members). Live the outdoor life at the REI Village-- a nationwide tour celebrating the amazing community of REI members and the good life outside. REI will be bringing free kayaking, an outdoor lounge, and giveaways for REI members.
BicycleSPACE Kingman Island Ride, Valet, Pop Up and Raffle - Bicycle Space will also be hosting a Bike Raffle and product display. On Saturday April 25th BicycleSPACE will be leading a ride starting from their new shop (440 K St., N.W.) at 10AM, that will go through the city, along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail and up to Kingman Island. Bikers on the ride will be granted early admission to the festival and guaranteed parking at the Two Wheel Valet bike parking corral. Any of the riders who have pre-purchased tickets will be able to get expedited entry into the Festival. BicycleSPACE is also working on introducing a bike demo station on Heritage Island where folks can check out the latest offerings from several of their brands. BicycleSPACE will also have a tent & table in the vendors alley with info about the shop(s) and some products and community events. Finally, BicycleSPACE will be sponsoring a raffle where attendees can sign up to win great prizes from the store- including a bicycle as the grand prize at the end of the day. http://www.bicyclespacedc.com/kibf

3. Presale tickets come with one Klean Kanteen, they’ll be sold for $5 on site and you must have one in order to drink beer.
