2ND ANNUAL BROCCOLI CITY FESTIVAL GOES BI-COASTAL FEATURING CAM'RON, JOJO, VASHTIE, DIZZY WRIGHT, JUST BLAZE, & MORE
Last year, nearly 5,000 people took part in the festivities! Attendees will have access to a pop up marketplace featuring cool and diverse vendors, group yoga and fitness instruction, on-site acupuncture, reikei, massages, live art instillations, sneaker cycling center, and the opportunity to join us for a 5K run.
“BC Fest promotes living a healthier and more environmentally sustainable lifestyle through cool and relevant campaigns,” said Brandon McEachern, Co-Founder of Broccoli City. The campaigns are built on a platform of change and transcendence with the hope to engage and unify a melting pot of cultures in city communities. “Our message is particularly resonant in the political and entertainment capitals of the world, where BC Fest educates future leaders on making informed decisions about their health and environment,” McEachern added.
Working alongside noted causes and organizations such as Earth Day Network, DC Department of Environment (DDOE), DC Sustainability Energy Utility (DCSEU), Los Angeles Office of Sustainability, the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans, 72 and Sunny, Zambezi, One Love Massive and Hip Hop Caucus, BC Fest will give the public a fresh look into environmental wellness programs and strategies in a fun setting.
To ensure a low carbon footprint, BC Fest will utilize several sustainable resources, including a LEED Gold certified pavilion in Washington, DC and a solar powered stage in Los Angeles. To remain carbon neutral all of the energy consumed will be offset by renewable energy credits.
