great happy hour in DC's upscale bar

my favorite bar in DC. Love the chill environment and 2 for 1 specials during happy hour. Their mojitos are to die for. I encourage people to go with a friend and chill on the couches. Not really a meet up spot. Also extra points to the bartender for carding me. I really felt like I was 18 again.

OK not Great

Okay, HALO is nice, upscale, flashy, has good looking patrons and employees. However around 11pm at night try to walk by without being assaulted by some annonymous person. I mean if you are going to touch me...you think you can ask first and see if I am willing? Other than the molestation, I would recommend HALO if you are in the mood for a lounge type of evening. HALO is NOT for dancing! BEWARE.

Rude Staff...Snobby Patrons

I honestly find this place incredibly rude and pretentious. The staff are incredibly rude and the patrons are covered in so much foundation its hard to really "see them." The drinks are soo $$ too..I mean if I'm gonna spend over 10 dollars for a drink I think I should at least feel respected as a customer. If you like bright lights and attitude then this is your place but honestly I'm more of a chilled guy that prefers real down to earth guys around me.

Thank god for the change

It is nice to see that a bar took the time to listen to its patrons and give something back. Halo is changing it up a bit and bringing that upscale flavor back to Dupont. They have the best deals in town for happy hour, i meet the nicest people there and it is cleeeaan. finally
