Upstairs, downstairs...

I don't usually like bars with porn videos playing, and they do that upstairs at the Eagle. But somehow that didn't stop me from taking someone home ffom here. The DC Eagle is your basic leather-style bar where men are welcome. I thought considering its location near Verizon Center it would get more of a Caps hockey crowd before/after games, but that didn't seem to happen.

It had its moments

Was in DC with friends over the summer, and was told that I had to try this place. Not what I expected. After having been to leather bars in NYC and Chicago, I was a little disappointed here, as in more furry "boys" than manly leathermen. At any rate, I drank, struck up a few conversations, and met my friends at a straight bar later. What else can you ask for?

DC EAGLE ....Going Down Hill

I have been going to the Eagle for over 8yrs and have always enjoyed the guy's and atmosphere, I mostly only go on Saturday nights and some Thursday's. I'm definitely a more quiet type guy who as long as I have been going has had NO interaction withe the Managemet there but again have never had any issues with The Eagle and ALWAYS have had a great time. It's a whole feeling of total disrespect of the customers who come there for a good time and bring in the revenue to keep the place open.

One of the Best Eagles

One of the Friendliest Eagles in the US (And Amsterdam), reasonably easy to get to, not expensive, and usually something going on during the week. Attentive bar staff, outdoor dark area. Was there recently on a Saturday, and of the many clubs they support was there. Also, diverse crowd - hot older daddies, lots of musclebears, younger leather men, and everything in-between. Very comfortable.

"I feel like a woman"

Went on a Saturday night. Not very busy, but it was filling in as the night got later. There was a Blowoff party that night, so all the hot fun and furry boys were there... we left the Eagle AFTER hearing the second Shania Twain song. As I was checking out a few hot guys, glancing at the steamy porn on the big screen and having fun with the bartenders, my penis inverted when "Man, I feel like a woman" came on. We gave it another round before going to Blowoff. I will say the bartenders were all awesome.
