Finally A Great Place For Over 30 Lesbians

This is a great place. Older crowd, laid back atmosphere upstairs and dancing downstairs. Wonderful not having to go downtown DC to enjoy yourself. I felt secure in the environment inside and outside. Bouncer at the door and a police car right across the street. Free parking. Good food and drinks and an attentive owner for the birthday party we celebrated there. And it is about time African American lesbians had a nice place like this in the neighborhood. Whites and Hispanics were there also and treated well (thus diverse). I plan to patron this club a lot.

Lace is a Change from the Norm

I have been a patron of Lace since its grand opening. My friends and I have totally enjoyed ourselves. The club is beautiful, the crowd is diverse and friendly, the food and drinks are great and parking is plentiful! Lace, which by the way, is owned by a lesbian, is the only club of its kind in the Nation's capital. This is certainly a place that we should all support!

Expensive and Not Diverse

Lace looks nice inside and the foods good...but the management is unorganzied, inconsistent with cover charges, drinks are horrible and high priced, and diversity????? No they need to be honest and advertise as an African American Lesbian establishment. And that is fine but they claim to be diverse and if you are white or young...you are not quite welcome. Lace is also not metro accessible and not in a very safe spot in DC....so with all females and 1 security gaurd and no parking...that will eventually become a problem. I'd save your money and skip it.

DC's Hottest Lesbian Club

Great food, drinks and dancing. Very diverse crowd with women of all backgrounds. This is the only women's club that is owned by a woman.
