Great place!

Lace is the premiere venue for lesbians. It's all inclusive and the owner does an excellent job supporting the community!

Lace as a whole

To me, Lace is like Cheers for lesbians. I have been quite often and loved it every time. The food is very good, though sometimes the chef is a little inconsistent because she likes to try new things with the traditional dishes I guess. Music was always nice and got me dancing. My favorite time to come is before the party starts on Fri and Sat or on Sundays. It is always more relaxed at this time. The promoters on Fri and Sat bring a good crown though Sat has a younger crowd than Friday. Bartenders are amazing!!! Gabrielle is the best of them all; ask her to make her blue margarita for you!! It is only expensive if you think $10 for a drink is a lot. But if you do, maybe you should stay home. As far as diversity goes, I have seen many different types of people in the club. I think that a club is what you make it so if you want more whites or Latinas there, tell your friends!! Overall, excellent club/bar. I will continue to support!

LACE IS COOL

Okay look, I have been to Lace at least 40 times since the grand opening. I think the diversity problem is not Lace's fault, the white lesbians just don't care to party with African American women, let's just be honest about it. No one is going to mistreat you, you just choose not to be around that environment. I'm not African American and I enjoy myself every time I go! Sometimes the bar staff can be slow depending on who is working. I see new faces alot in there but a few definitely stand out. There is a new girl there I think her name is Mary, very adorable, attentive and makes awesome drinks! There is another girl that is quite pleasant but can be very hard on the eyes with her VERY bulky arms and awful wigs, not sure her name though. Sorry, I just figured someone had to be honest. There is another girl that is also very sweet that was my favorite bartender at the RNR ladies parties. I think her name is Monique or Monica, definitely makes great drinks too! The dj is pretty corny, since he plays the same thing every time I come there. I would rather see a female dj, hey thats just my opinion. The food is awesome! Make sure you try the crab cakes and the wings! They definitely should have some special nights down there, it can get a bit boring, but there is no where else for our 30 and up crowd so I'll take it!

not diverse- don't even advertise that way..

It's a BLACK club. That's great, unless you happen to not be african american. Drinks are way overpriced and small- only about 4oz for a mixed drink. Bartenders are slow (maybe just for me?) and the music sucked. Well, it's too damn bad, because I was hoping for something good. Good try.
