What we say
Unpretentious fun place for comfort food
Café Luna has been a landmark gayborhood restaurant since opening in 1988. Just a short distance from Dupont Circle and downtown Washington D.C, and literally steps from the bars and clubs of P and 17th Streets, Café Luna is certainly convenient.
The cooking emphasis Mediterranean/Italian-American/American cuisine, and not particularly expensive at that. While it should not be mistaken for fine dining, Luna is a great place to hang, chat and devour comfort food. The brunch is also popular, but Luna, located in a small basement with an open kitchen, is almost always packed. The Chocolate Cake (voted one of the best desserts in Washington), as well as a full menu of mouth watering deserts, is to die for.
So, what do you say?
