Lauriol Plaza

(31 Ratings)
Tasty Tex-Mex eats in a sophisticated, urban atmosphere.
Lauriol Plaza is a great spot for Mexican and margaritas. They've got a gorgeous rooftop patio. The restaurant also tends to do a lot of charity work where they donate a percentage of their earnings to organizations that help HIV and cancer patients and the Children National Hospital.

Just OK Mexican

The place is huge and designed well, but the food just always seem so so to me. You will see your fair share of gays there, but it isn't a "gay spot" per se. The majority of folks are on their way to Adams Morgan or U Street after. If you want basic american tex mex food...this place wont' be bad, but don't expect culinary mastery.
