In this fashion unconscious town of preppy dullsville, G-Star stands out like a beacon of hope. A poor man's version of San Francisco's Nice Collective, Amersterdam's G-Star makes consistently sleek and stylish, military inspired fashion clothing on a relative budget. The decorative jeans and jackets manage to be both practical and pretty.

But Try to Buy the Clothing...I'm a big boy, I admit - 5'9", 240 lbs, 19" arms, 48" chest and 36" waist. I don't buy off the rack much in gay shops, but G-Star usually has something nice and big. The strange thing in this shop however is that not everything is for sale. The great G-Star shoes and boots aren't - available only at some other shop somewhere. Very annoying. I give the shop an OK - I'd like it if they actually had all the clothing they had on display - to purchase. -
