Great dinner place before hitting the bars around the corner
Specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine, Skewers is located in the heart of Dupont Circle, right above Cafe Luna and steps away from all the great gay bars of 17th and P Streets. While the food is middling, the restaurant offers a variety of entertainment--belly dancing on Saturday nights--while Club Beyond on the third floor lounge has a live DJ every Wednesday night. It regularly showcases upcoming local area artists, and presents other special events. The third floor room can be reserved for various private events.
