Pride Outside is thrilled to partner with Rainbow History Project to offer LGBTQ history walking tours in DC!
Join us on Wednesday, May 17th at 7pm to learn about LGBTQ history on Capitol Hill!
Capitol Hill has long been a social and residential center for Washington, DC’s gay and lesbian community. Come hear stories of radical lesbian separatists, First Amendment fights, the foundation of LGBT religious organizations, the community’s response to AIDS, and other tales from seven decades of gay and lesbian life in the shadow of the Capitol.
The Rainbow History Project collects, preserves, and promotes an active knowledge of the history, arts, and culture relevant to sexually diverse communities in metropolitan Washington DC.
