The Flash Halloween tradition continues this October with Flesh. This year, we transform our space into an insane asylum for those deranged hedonists that live deep inside us all. You will be admitted through our Center for Human Advancement, where our finest doctors will conduct inhumane experiments on both your body and soul. After which you will be sent upstairs to the Meat Locker to assimilate to your new reality as a fully-optimized specimen. Upon integration, you are permitted to move about the Greenhouse on the third floor, where you are free to intermix with your fellow lobotomized brothers and sisters. Many unsavory urges will strike you during your time here, so please contact any of our staff immediately so that we may make the necessary… adjustments to your psyche. Help us dance toward a stronger future for humankind this Halloweekend at Flesh.
To help us purify our naturally imperfect forms we have invited Danish three-piece WhoMadeWho, performing a rare DJ set, as well as Baltimore-born, UK-based Maurice Fulton AKA Boof making his rooftop debut (and third club appearance).

WHOMADEWHO:
The Danish band WhoMadeWho was formed in Copenhagen in 2007 by the Danish producer Tomas Barfod, the jazz guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg and David Bowie loving bassplayer Tomas Høffding. WhoMadeWho would after just a few demos and one show find themselves signed to the German based label Gomma on which they released their debut album, simply entitled Who Made Who, in 2005. The release was supported by numerous 12” featuring remixes by some of the strongest names on the electronic scene at that time. Since the release of that first album, the band has gone on to release albums with Kompakt (“Knee Deep in 2011 and “Brighter” in 2012) and Get Physical (Berlin). They have also performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world and toured with acts such as Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, and Erol Alkan.
After touring around the world several times the band is currently working on their next album (1Q 2017) and have recently released their latest single “Hi-Low” (April 2016), the exclusive single off their mix compilation on Get Physical’s “Body Language” Series.
MAURICE FULTON:
Maverick production genius Maurice Fulton is a man of few words, who is more inclined to let his music do the talking. We know for certain that he comes from Baltimore in the USA and has been DJing since his early teens. Starting on Hip-hop and then moving on to House and Garage at various residencies across the US he played under his nickname DR Scratch.
Maurice began playing organ in church and drums in high school. So when he put his talent to making music it wasn’t long before he was using his skills to produce tracks with The Basement Boys and Ultra Nate. His most famous work was heard on Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, one of the most successful house tunes of the early ‘90s.
Maurice went on to become highly prolific in his production work releasing tracks on various labels through the 90’s including Nuphonic and Warp in the UK. Often linked to contemporaries like Carl Craig, Derrick May and Frankie Knuckles, his textured sounds and complexity of production astounded many and grew him a loyal fan base. Some called it weird house others arty disco, his left of centre productions were always on the money.
In his more recent years he has been working for Tirk, Kathy Diamond and DFA. Maurice likes to be known first and foremost as a producer, though for those in the know, Maurice is also an extremely accomplished DJ. His sets are firmly rooted in the Loft and Garage classics that gave New York City its clubbing heritage. These tracks often quietly edited to perfection by his own hand, and presented and eq’ed to maximum effect on the dance floor.
Maurice Fulton is one of house music’s true originals and his enviable back catalogue will live long in a modern world of disposable downloads.
