Logistics
If you want to visit the White House Gardens with us be at Freedom Plaza by no later than 8:00 am SHARP (not 8:15 .... not 8:03 .... but 8:00 sharp). Come earlier if you can, to avoid being late as we will be there starting at 7:30 handing out our Meetup stickers so you can identify fellow group members. From Freedom Plaza we will walk to the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion and get in the ticket line together. We will all obtain the same timed tickets so we can visit the garden together, as a group.
The U.S. Secret Service does not allow people to “take cuts” in the ticket line. Therefore, if you arrive late, you will be further behind us in line, and you will thus receive a later timed-entry ticket - or perhaps no ticket at all if they run out.
