Join the Smithsonian Latino Center and the National Museum of the American Indian in an all-ages celebration of life, memory, and ancestors! Ongoing demonstrations with master artists, Virtual Reality immersive experiences, hands-on fun for kids, and music & dance performances. Featured artists include: CARMEN LOMAS GARZA: ARTIST TALK & BOOKSIGNING Oct. 29 & 30, 2 pm - Rasmuson Theater Iconic Mexican American artist shares stories about her work and approach to celebrating Día de los Muertos. LAS CAFETERAS: CLOSING CONCERT Sunday, Oct. 30 only, 3:30 pm - Potomac Atrium Playing son jarocho with a funky approach, Las Cafeteras fuse tradition with modern rhythms and contemporary storytelling.
