Sunset for Dancers Awareness Series

Each week we invite the community members to share their thoughts, projects and artistic talents. If you have a cause, a form of art or a fun activity you can share please contact us asap. This event is an opportunity to connect with people, music and nature, all at one of the finest works of architecture in DC, the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Best of all its kid friendly, many parents bring their kids, to this evening of enlightenment, music and dance in the park. Our resident DJ, DJ Ocho will take you on a journey through different Latin, Caribbean and African genres. From the Caribbean islands we will play Salsa, Bachata, Zouk and Kompa. From Angola and Cabo Verde we will play Kizomba, Semba and Cabo Love. ✮ EVENT PROGRAM ✮ 6:00PM to 6:30PM 30min Kizomba Dance Lesson 6:30PM to 7:30PM Dance music 7:30PM to 8PM Talks and activities 8PM to 9PM Dance music ✮ WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT ✮ This how you can support the 4 week Sunset for Dancers Earth Love series 1. We need help with logistics, greeting participants and getting the word out. 3. We need Sponsors. Kizz Me DC's Sunset for Dancers is a network of over 8,000 dance and outdoor enthusiasts eager to come out and dance. 4. If you are here and you walk towards the Potomac River you will find us. Driving in and finding free street parking can be difficult. We recommend using public transportation, walking, biking or uber to get to our location.
