M-E Girard is a Canadian writer of contemporary fiction---mostly young adult fiction, sometimes new adult fiction, usually queer fiction, and always about girls. M-E is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Writers' Community of Durham Region.
Gabby Rivera is a writer, youth mentor, and has worked with Autostraddle.com for the last five years. Her first novel, Juliet Takes a Breath, was published by Riverdale Avenue Books this past January. Gabby's written about feminism, kissing girls, Nicki Minaj, radical politics and falling in love with queer brown communities. She is currently working for a national non-profit organization dedicated to serving LGBTQ youth populations. She’s fostered LGBTQ youth groups, QTPOC healing spaces, and taught as a multi-media artist for arts and social justice-based organizations. She was born and raised in the Bronx.
Divya Sood was born in Kolkata, India. She migrated to the United States as a child and grew up in Edison, New Jersey. Upon graduation from Edison High School, she was awarded the medal for Outstanding Achievement in English. She attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate work with a major in English and a concentration in Creative Writing. While at Rutgers, she was awarded the Evelyn Hamilton First Prize for Fiction, the Edna N. Herzberg First Prize for Fiction, and the New Jersey Chapter of National Society of Arts and Letters First Prize for Short Fiction. Divya holds a Master of Arts in English from New York University. She resides in Queens, New York.
