James Suriano, originally from New York, is the SciFi/Fantasy Author of Inbiotic (2015), The Antarcticans (2016), and Dark (2016). He writes his novels on the Metro to and from work each day in Washington. While he has lived here for 18 years, he and his husband and son will soon be relocating to sunny Ft. Lauderdale. Upcoming work that will release later in the year, includes a Horror Anthology, 'To Catch A Breath', and a Young Adult novel set in China, 'The Cult of Mao'. He was a speaker earlier this year at NASA and The Museum of Science Fiction's summer event, Escape Velocity. In his newest novel, Dark, Suriano creates a world in the 25th century where countries and borders no longer exist and Earth is ruled by one President, a gay President, who was recently ousted and is campaigning around Earth, Mars, and the Moon for re-election. James Suriano is very excited to be participating at this years OutWrite Book Festival.
Erin McRae and Racheline Maltese write the LGBTQ Hollywood romance series Love in Los Angeles (Torquere Press) and the theater-based Love’s Labours series (Dreamspinner Press). Their work has also been published with Cleis Press and Supposed Crimes. Racheline’s fiction, non-fiction and poetry has appeared in numerous outlets. She is also a producer and writer on Serial Box Publishing’s Tremontaine (available in print from Simon & Schuster’s Saga Press). Erin is a writer and blogger based in Washington, D.C. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Toronto, and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from American University where she studied the role of social media in the Arab Spring. Together, they write stories and scripts about the intersection of private lives, fame, and desire.
Sunny Moraine’s short fiction has appeared in Clarkesworld, Strange Horizons, Lightspeed, Long Hidden: Speculative Fiction from the Margins of History, and QUEERS DESTROY HORROR!, among other places. They are also responsible for the novel trilogies Root Code and Casting the Bones, as well as A Brief History of the Future: collected essays. In addition to authoring, Sunny is a doctoral candidate in sociology and a sometimes college instructor; that last may or may not have been a good move on the part of their department. They unfortunately live just outside Washington DC in a creepy house with two cats and a very long-suffering husband.
