Operation Shine Washington DC, Homeless Youth Speak Out

Raising awareness of the LGBTQ homeless youth epidemic in Washington D.C. This is the most important part of Operation Shine DC. This is the event where we will get to hear from the homeless and marginally housed youth community and from the organizations who are working hard to empower and support them. We are proud to be a part of Operation Shine Washington DC. And excited to show the nation what DC is all about! Operation Shine Washington DC, hosted by Sasha Bruce Youthwork, is a community event created to raise awareness of the LGBTQ homeless youth epidemic in Washington D.C. and celebrates the organizations in D.C. that are empowering homeless and marginally housed youth. Operation Shine is a part of PrideWalk2009; where Jill Hardman and Chloe Noble are walking across the United States to raise awareness of the LGBTQ homeless youth epidemic in America.
