Day of 1,000 Madonnas: Capital Pride 2016

Like a virgin, Compass Rose is excited to announce a day full of festivities for #CapitalPride for the very first time! Strike a pose with us at 1346 T Street NW on Saturday, June 11. The Materials Girls will convene beginning at 1 pm, when it’s just us against the music. Schedule of events: 1 pm: Shot recipe tasting competition to benefit the Point Foundation 2 pm: Contour Counter with @brandonunicorn (IG) 5 pm: Taste a Hot Lady with the OutRiders 11 pm: DJ Lady Coco —— If you just can’t even with arranging Saturday plans pre- and post-parade because you’re getting over the #bestnightever, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. We’re kicking off the day by opening up the bar at 1 pm with a shot recipe tasting/sipping/not binging (!) competition to benefit the Point Foundation, which empowers #LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential. $20 allows you to try the three shots, and you'll vote for your favorite! At 2, we’re gonna dress you up in our love—all over your body. Come in and fix your face—not that you need (that much) help—at our Contour Counter ft. the legendary @brandonunicorn (IG). He’ll be doing drag makeup for all the needy queens. Who isn’t getting painted like a Lucky Star before throwing shade? We’ll be open for dinner at 5 pm as per always and forever, so if you're feeling a bit hung up after parade, come in and celebrate all of the hot ladies of the OutRiders. If you took this holiday at Compass Rose, it would be so nice. And quicker than a ray of light, our very own Lady CoCo makes you feel like a queen on the throne. She’ll be DJing late into the night, so you can dance until dawn. And in the morning, you’ll feel like you just got home.
