World AIDS Day 2015 Candlelight Vigil

December 1, 2015 marks the 28th annual World AIDS Day. The theme this year is “The Time to Act Is Now,” and we couldn’t agree with it more. We’ve made so much progress in the fight against HIV over the past three decades, but we need to step up the pace if we’re going to reach ambitious local, national, and global goals to end HIV and AIDS. As tradition, Whitman-Walker Health commemorates the day with a candlelight vigil to honor those we’ve lost to AIDS and reflect on the inspirational progress made in ending this epidemic.
