Our Heroes Opening Reception at the DC Center for the LGBT Community

OUR HEROES documents the history of HIV/AIDS from 1983 to 2015 through a collection of over 200 black and white photographs of the people, places, events, and things, that have made a significant change in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Washington DC. Join us on Friday September 25thth at 6:00 PM at the DC Center for the LGBT Community as we honor OUR HEROES and celebrate the addition of over 24 photographs to the collection. We will also have a performance by the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington! These photographs will be on display at the DC Center through October 15th. This event is free and open to the public. OUR HEROES was created by the Max Robinson Center Advisory Board and is currently a permanent collection at the Martin Luther King Jr. Library.
