Last Year I helped organize 3 Flash Mob meditations in the summer & i loved every bit of it. So it's time to start again our Silent meditations in the commotion of DC.
Come join people of all ages, backgrounds & faiths. Sitting together in Silence/Silent Prayer, respecting each other’s presence and sending out an intention to create a Peaceful Self & Peaceful World. The great thing about this flash mob is that you don't need any practice for it!
As we are going to be at a public place. So here are few instructions to make sure that flash mob happens smoothly.
1.) When the Gong tolls at 7:30 pm, we invite you to meditate silently with us for 20 minutes. You can focus on your breath or if you like you can chant or pray silently.
2.) You can meditate in any way you want: sitting, standing, walking, etc.
3.) Please bring anything that helps you sit comfortably a small mat, cushions or chair.
4.) Come with your own deepest intentions of peace and joy for yourself, your community & our planet.
5.) Meditation will last 20 minutes. You can join us for all of it, part of it, or come just to hang out
6.) Meditation will end with another hit on the Gong.
Om Shanti (Peace)
