Out/Spoken: Queer, Questioning, Bold and Proud True Stories Through an LGBT Lens

SpeakeasyDC, Washington’s original, true-storytelling group (named the “Gold Standard” by The Washington Post) presents stories from the LGBT perspective that will challenge, provoke, inspire and ignite. From coming out to a Mormon grandmother, to dating while transitioning, being “butch,” and trying to “pray the gay away,” Out/Spoken is a night of stories that celebrate diverse viewpoints and finds the heart and humor in the challenges and triumphs of life. The show features eight different storytellers and music by DJ Khelan of the popular Breakfast Club dance party.
