Great American Square Dance Revival

Spring is in full swing and our May dance is fast approaching! Becky Hill will be calling with "string" cleaning provided by The Hoover Uprights. That's Kate Brett on banjo, Kevin Enoch on bass, Bill Schmidt on fiddle and John Schwab on guitar. It's gonna be a grand time for everyone! Doors at 8:00 pm; dancing 8:30 to 11:30 pm. Admission is $5 cash at the door. Sorry, no credit cards! Snacks and drinks to share are welcomed. Folks outside the neighborhood, consider biking or taking the metro! St. Stephens is a short walk from the Columbia Heights station on the green/yellow line. For drivers, there is some street parking and a garage below the shopping mall on Park Rd. at 14th St. This dance is sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington.
