Hips and Hyperbole: Poetry Slam and Pole Dancing

Celebrate National Poetry Month Hips and Hyperbole THE HOTTEST EROTIC POETRY SLAM & SEXIEST POLE DANCING IN DC! Hosted by Shelly Bell Jordin's Paradise 1215 Connecticut Ave, NW Washington, DC Saturday, April 18, 2014, Doors open at 8pm, Slam starts at 9pm Get there early to get a great seat! General Admission: $10 in advance, $15 at the door Hips and Hyperbole is a competitive poetry event featuring pole dancers from Jordin's Paradise. WATCH, JUDGE, and/or SLAM as the District’s slam poets battle in front of a sexy live show. COMPETE IN THE POETRY SLAM: Slam Registration: $10 Hips and Hyperbole will follow general PSi rules(with the exception of the time penalty. There will be no time penalty). The slam will be 2 rounds with elimination (depending on how many poets are competing). The winner will recieve $100, a free pole dancing class at Jordin's Paradise and offered the opportunity to feature at Busboys and Poets (Shirlington location).
