We will meet in the Lobby Lounge of the Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel. The lounge is on the right side of the lobby. Casual business attire is fine.
If you are taking the Metro, get off on the Silver Spring stop which is three city blocks from the Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel.Cameron/Spring Street Montgomery County Public Parking lot behind the Sheraton conveniently opens into the lobby-hallway of the Sheraton and is free beginning at 7 p.m. There is about 10 feet of open-air space between the covered parking and the back door to the Sheraton. If you arrive before 7 p.m., street parking is free starting at 6 p.m.
This networking social is hosted by Maryland Gay & Lesbian Professionals. A variety of LGBTQ professionals and allies from all over the state and region will be attending. Bring plenty of business cards.
Optional: In addition, as ongoing community service, if you can, please optionally spring clean your cupboard of unused nonperishable food items for a local food bank. This event will serve as a convenient collection point.
