Brother, Help Thyself hopes you'll join us as we welcome representatives of the DC/Baltimore metro area LGBTQ groups, clubs, organizations and local activists at two upcoming town halls on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 9, 2015 to discuss our community’s needs and better understand available resources.
The Washington, DC/Baltimore region is fortunate to have so many active organizations providing services, including HIV/AIDS and mental health, and opportunities to meet and socialize with others in the community. This Town Hall series will be the first step in sharing ideas, exploring under-served needs and giving the resource/service providers an insight to the immediate needs and concerns of the community.
This information sharing will help to inform our 2015 grant cycle and will be the first step in developing an online directory of the many LGBTQ focused non-profits in the DC/Baltimore metro areas to enable our community members to access the services and organizations that they need.
Please join us and please share with your networks and friends!
A similar town hall will be held in Baltimore, MD on Wednesday, April a from 7:30 to 9pm at the Hyatt Place Inner Harbor Hotel, 511 South Central Avenue, Baltimore. https://www.facebook.com/events/1550993181841259/
