VIII BRAZILIAN FILM WEEK

The Cultural Sector of the Embassy of Brazil is proud to announce the upcoming VIII Brazilian Film Week, to be held at the E Street Cinema from October 31st to November 6th. The highlight this year will be two special sessions for children featuring the cartoon The Boy and the World. Five Brazilian films and a documentary directed by Bret Primack and Ken Avis on the History of Bossa Nova will be screened. Also, a documentary about the Brazilian singer Maria Bethânia will be presented with the sponsorship of the Embassy of Switzerland. Admission is free of charge. Films in Portuguese have English subtitles.
