This greater LGBT and Allies community-wide social is an exciting prelude to the HRC National Dinner (which takes place the next evening.) It provides everyone a chance to socialize, clink glasses and celebrate equality in a splendid setting. Regardless if you are going to the HRC dinner or not, go to this free social hosted by Go Gay DC - Metro DC's LGBT Community Club (http://www.gogaydc.org).
We will meet in the second floor lounge of Marrakech (http://www.marrakechrestaurantdc.com/ ) at 2147 P Street NW Washington, DC 20037. Come see all the upgrades done to the old Mr. P's!
All your friends are welcome. There will be a free door prize raffle. 100 fabulous people from all over the world are expected at this spacious and comfy lounge. Name tags will be provided. There is no cover charge; cash bar. Friday business casual attire or more regal wear (it's a Palace) is fine.
Marrakech is conveniently located only blocks away from the Dupont Circle Metro and street parking is usually available nearby. Please note that the entrance is the door to the left of the red carpet.
Please join us as at this exciting venue. If you haven't been out in a while, then come on out and make some new friends.
Make it an exotic evening: The door with the red carpet opens to the lower level restaurant, which you may dine in before or after the social. Marrakech Restaurant serves exquisite Moroccan cuisine. Menu: http://marrakechrestaurantdc.com/dinner_menu.htm
See you upstairs on the second floor at 7 p.m.!!!
