Writing Workshop: Coming of Age

Coming of Age is important in everyone's life but the LGBT experience comes with it's unique set of challenges and the pivotal process of coming out. This hour long workshop will engage writers with how coming out and coming of age has been discussed in the LGBT canon and feature exercises on how to write a piece unique and original as each person's coming of age. Sinta Jimenez is a writer, fine artist and fashion journalist. Her short stories, paintings and poetry have been published in several literary magazines including Underground Voices, Otis Nebula, and The Sheepshead Review.
