We have a line up of a few key speakers, focusing on the ways Trevor supports LGBTQ youth. A current and a former member of Trevor's national Youth Advisory Council will be speaking as well as a local high school's GSA faculty advisor who has had DC Ambassadors present Trevor's Lifeguard workshop to her students.
There will be a generous open bar & hors d'oeuvres, a terrific silent auction, and music by DJ Khelan Bhatia.
Tickets are $100 in advance, $125 at the door or $175 to be a "Trevor Star."
The event proceeds will support national and local programs for youth in crisis or looking for answers to challenges they face or looking for a community of support. These programs include The Trevor Lifeline, the 24/7 crisis intervention and suicide prevention hotline; TrevorSpace, a social networking site for LGBT youth and their friends; and TrevorChat, a secure online messaging service that provides help by trained volunteers.
