PrEPare for Life: Community Dialogue About PrEP

Join us for a community dialogue on Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis and what it means for the future of gay men’s health. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a safe, legal, and effective method for preventing HIV. The FDA approved PrEP in July of 2012 but many gay men are still unaware of it or are confused by what it means. Infections continue to rise among gay men and young gay men of color are severely impacted. Our prevention options have now expanded. This interactive community dialogue will be an opportunity to learn more about the basic science around PrEP, how it is accessed and paid for, and discuss what it means for improving gay men’s health and quality of life.
