An Age-Friendly City for LGBT Older Adults

The DC Center and the Mayor's Office of LGBT Affairs invite you to join us on Monday December 16th for a community conversation about making the District an age-friendly for the LGBT community. DC Mayor Vincent Gray has agreed to participate in a pilot program of 5 National Cities to earn the distinction of being named "An Age Friendly City." As a part of this initiative of course there is an opportunity for older Adults to give input on what that means to them and give ideas about their priorities. Join us during our regular Coffee & Conversation time for Older LGBT Adults, from 10:00 AM to Noon at the DC Center, 2000 14th Street NW. The conversation will be facilitated by Ron Swanda, a member of the Mayor's Advisory Committee on LGBT Affairs.
