Over the years, I’ve done Leather Invasions of gay bars (J.R’s, Halo) and even bus crawls between the DC Eagle, Baltimore Eagle and Philly's Bike Stop but I want to do something specifically for the women in our community.
That said, I miss Dyke Nights at the Eagle!

That said, I miss Dyke Nights at the Eagle!
I miss walking into the bar, finding a welcome space full of women and knowing I’ll see hot femmes in high heels, a bad ass butch behind the bar, FTMs strutting their stuff, and everyone in between. So rather than sit & continue to wish about it, I’m proposing a DYKE Invasion of the DC Eagle, November 1 @ 9pm!
I want one more chance to see an army of dykes, femmes, FTMS, newbies, butches, wannabes and their friends in the DC Eagle!
I’m looking to not only re-capture that Dyke vibe in the Eagle but to also expand it. I want to see people, from all walks of life, who haven’t been to the Eagle but have always wanted to go; I want my high femmes, my FTMs, and especially my butches. I want you all!
So my fellow recruits, will you help me turn the DC Eagle OUT on Nov. 1st with an army of dykes?
Event details:
Dyke Invasion of the DC Eagle
Date: November 1
Time: 9pm
Cheers,
Jackie (JT)
Self-Appointed General,
Dyke Army Division
I also go by Jackie, JT, Sir Jaqe, Ms. Capital Pride Leather 2009 and, further still, BamBam's wife (Mr. MAL 2010); You'd think I'd have a complex by now right? LOL
Please note: The DC Eagle’s current location will only be open until November 24 as their lease is up and they will be moving to an as-yet-undisclosed location so if you can’t make Nov. 1, do try to stop into the Eagle and say ‘so long’ to a location that gave Dyke Night a great home for years.
