There are only a few events that can really stop the world and bring us all together, but two are happening this July. One of these events is the Summer Olympics in London and the other is Pop Goes The World at Green Lantern. We may have lost our bid to host that other global event, but we won't let that us stop from celebrating the best in pop music the world has to offer. In honor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and London hosting the Olympics we are focusing our musical sights on all our favourite British Pop Stars! Think Spice Girls, Lily Allen, Robbie WIlliams, The Wanted, Amy Whinehouse, Ellie Goulding, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Franz Ferdinand and Soul II Soul. Have no fear we'll be pulling from the arsenal of artists from the Commonwealth of Nations and the former British Empire. Prepare for Kylie (Australia), Rihanna (Barbados), Nelly Fortado (Canada), Sia (Australia), Kimbra (New Zealand).
