about seth:
The energy, intensity, and passion that Seth has for the music, comes second to none. Austin's fastest, rising star continues to gain a larger and larger following. With plenty of new tracks, Seth is always ready to deliver the high energy vocals, under laced with fierce, tribal drums and a hint of Latin influence that keeps you dancing. Tapping into production, Seth has had plenty of private mixes and mashups played by some of the industries' top talents at the most premier parties and venues throughout the nation.
In 2006, Gay Internet Radio Live asked him to join their online radio network that allowed Seth's sets to be heard streaming live, side by side, next to other big names such as Randy Bettis, Eddie Baez, Lydia Prim, Star 69 Records, and Joe G. In 2007, Seth had the second most online hits only missing the #1 spot to the Lesbian Lounge!
Within just a couple years of moving to Texas, Seth headlined at Suede Lounge (San Antonio), Heat (San Antonio), Oil Can Harry's (Austin), Octo-Tea 12, 13, and 14 (Austin), Tin Room (Dallas), Excuses/Club One (Dallas), Guava Lamp (Houston), Meteor (Houston), South Beach Nightclub (Houston), and at various fund raisers and benefits arounds the state.
In August of 2008, Seth headlined his first major party over Labor Day Weekend, Splash Days After Hours' Adult Swim party. The energetic, powerful, and fresh sound that Seth delivered, proved that Seth could DJ a venue-packed, high-profile party. From this performance alone, Just Circuit labeled Seth as one of the next great DJ's to come out of Austin on the heels of Roland Belmares and Michael Tank (other well-known Austinites).
The year of 2008, toured Seth through Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Orlando, and Tampa. To end the year, Seth traveled to the opposite side of the country to debut in Seattle, at Cuff Complex, delivering a spectacular, surprising, and energetic performance to the masses that were skeptical of a DJ they were unfamiliar with; the party ended at 4am with a packed dance floor applauding!
In 2009, Just Circuit nominated Seth as the Best Up and Coming DJ, and for Best After Hours Party (Splash Days), sharing that nomination with other world class events like One Mighty Party's Arabian Nights and Winter Party. On March 1st, Just Circuit announced Seth Cooper as the winner for the Best Up and Coming DJ category! Seth was also nominated in 2009 as Best DJ in Austin by the Austin Chronicle!
Seth was then chosen to do the very first Splash Days Album by Centaur Music and as the DJ headliner for the first nationwide, Splash Days Tour. The tour brought him through new cities: Columbia, SC and Raleigh, NC and brought back returning stops to Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Tampa. The year also brought Seth to debut at MJ's in L.A. and New Orleans to headline for Halloween 26's Friday Night Party: Wicked Winter Wonderland; drawing the largest crowd for a Friday Night main party in it's history! He continued to tour, breaking the International barrier at age 26, headlining mega-clubs: Club D2 (Shanghai, China) and Club Unity (Montreal, Canada). Both events brought in over 1200 patrons!
"It's my passion for the music and the dance that drives me to play the most energetic and uplifting set."
