Friendly people, great atmosphere and honestly pretty diverse.
Upstairs does some fun "bartender karaoke" which can actually be fun and entertaining. Definitely gets the crowd going and keeps everyone entertained. I'm not huge on country music but some strange reason I favor it a lot more than I do some 17 minute remix of Britney Spears which only seems to satisfy those on drugs.

Remington's is a pretty decent place. It's "country western" DC style, which means more like a Halloween Party than anything to do with cowboys. But, it's a large, well layed out place, a good crowd.

As the song said, Save a Horse - Ride a Cowboy! This is the place to do that. Butch, good looking, and willing to dance too! Crowded, but good traffic flow so you aren't always retracing your steps.

This huge bar is fast becoming a hangout for the Capital Hill residents who are joined by people from MD, VA, and DuPont Circle who want to meet some down to earth guys in a Country Western Bar. Lots of dancing, Two large bars downstairs, very friendly crowd. If Country Western isn't your thing, try the upstairs Kareoke bar, totally different crowd. An all around great experience.
