I went on a recent Sunday afternoon and I suppose that if U r not wearing leather U r viewed as some alien some outer space. Incidentally because Im Latin a lot of the patrons looked at me odd. Then somebody call me on my cell. I didnt know there was a rule against cellphones at the bar and the bartender looked at me like I threw the atom bomb on Hiroshima. Felt most unwelcome in this place. sorry, aint going back

I walked there from my hotel in Logan Circle, kinda far to walk it, and not in the best area of town - but, super friendly bartenders. One of the largest Eagles I have been in, porn on a large screen, pool tables, and a large center placed bar upstairs with stools encircling so its great for people watching. If you are visiting Washington - put this on your list.

I love hitting the Eagle when I'm in DC. I always find the staff to be friendly and the patrons, too; and I don't always do well meeting people. Be prepared to show ID. Upstairs or main floor, this is a great bar.

Very Nice place with very friendly guys. I was visiting DC and found this place on the internet so I walked in and had no issues at all. Big time Leather - guys from younger to older - (but who cares about age). Good place to have a 'few' drinks and to talk with locales and other travelers. recommend big time!

Quite possibly the friendliest bar I have been in. No attitude here... just good men having a good time.
