EFN Lounge

The schedule at EFN Lounge and Motley Bar (upstairs, BeBar's former VIP room) is so much more diverse. Thursdays are hot with Military Nights! Tuesdays make for a fun evening with 2 for 1 drinks as you stuff Fuk!ts. And Saturday's CODE Party, OH MY GOD! That rocked!

Its a cool space and it was a genuinely mixed crowd which was cool, but the staff suck, and it was nearly empty at 11pm until after midnight when I finally had to leave. The poor bartender was so desperate he pulled a price switch on my drinks. I was there with a birthday boy, so I didn't make a big stink. Secrets, where we retreated, was much more fun. And the men (staff and patrons) were WAAAAY hotter!

A great time to be had, but don't go until 7:30 PM or so... the free pizza doesn't get there until 8 PM, so the bears don't get there until then. But, when they do get there, it is a great time. You have to initiate conversation though - the city is filled with a bunch of transients, so the people there refuse to break their cliques unless you start the chat. But, after a good ice-breaker, all is well! Had a blast - and the 2 for 1 drink special made it nice.

I went into the EFN lounge on friday and was surprised to find hot gay guy mixed with bears and lesbians. I was shocked to find a gay bar that is unpretentious and welcoming! Kudos EFN!
