Great American Zoo

As Pete does, my partner as well love to visit zoos and see how they take care to house them and care for them. The National Zoo is a wonderful zoo. They have taken care to redesign the habitats for Elephants as have many other zoos across America.

An Impressive Variety of Animals

After some management controversy a few years ago, The National Zoo seems to be back on track as one of our nation's premier zoos. There is a huge variety of animals, including lions, tigers, pandas, gorillas and elephants. I love animals, and I like to visit zoos around the country. This is among my favorites. Admission to the zoo is free, but parking is limited and somewhat expensive. It may be a better option to take the Metro Red Line, exit at Woodley Park-Zoo, and then walk to the zoo entrance.
